The Blueprint for Action on Women and Girls and HIV/AIDS in Canada is an international coalition of AIDS Service organizations, women’s organizations, reproductive rights organizations, advocacy coalitions, and individuals interested in promoting awareness of issues impacting women, trans women and girls living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Blueprint engages in advocacy and education and uses the International AIDS Conferences (IAC) as a fulcrum to engage political and other forms of leadership in responding to issues raised by the coalition. Blueprint achieves a majority of its work through a National Steering Committee that meets by teleconference, and focuses on the following areas:
- Legal, Ethical and Human Rights
- Research
- Stigma and Discrimination
- Diagnosis and Treatment
- Prevention and Education
- Care and Support
- International AIDS Conferences
